1. Seller
The course is sold by Sigreturn Labs, a French SASU registered at the RCS of Paris under number 104 567 854 (VAT FR45104567854), whose details are in the legal notice. Contact: [email protected].
2. The course
Malware analysis and reverse engineering is an online video course: 19 sections, 201 lessons, exercises, labs and a final challenge graded by a person, delivered on learn.sigreturn.com. Its full programme is on the course page. It is digital content supplied without a physical medium. Section 00 is free with an account; the rest requires the purchase.
The course uses harmless samples written for it. It never supplies real malware. You build your analysis machine yourself with the course’s instructions and keep it isolated as taught; you are responsible for what you run on your own equipment.
3. Price and payment
The price is €1,490 including 20 % French VAT (€1,241.67 excluding VAT), paid once. Payment is made by card through Stripe, on a page hosted by Stripe; Sigreturn Labs never sees your card number. The order is complete when Stripe confirms the payment. An invoice is sent to you by email.
4. Access, account and devices
Access opens as soon as the payment is confirmed, in the account created with the email used to pay. It is lifetime access: for as long as Sigreturn Labs offers the course, including its updates. If Sigreturn Labs ever stopped offering it, students would be told at least three months in advance.
The account is personal and may not be shared, lent or sold. It can be used on up to three devices, one video playing at a time. A new device is approved through a link sent by email. Two-factor authentication is required to watch the paid lessons.
5. Right of withdrawal
Under Article L221-28 13° of the French Consumer Code, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content supplied without a physical medium whose supply has begun, after the consumer’s prior express consent and express acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal is lost. At checkout, you ask for immediate access to the course and expressly waive your right of withdrawal. The commercial guarantee below still applies.
6. 14-day money-back guarantee
In addition to your legal rights, Sigreturn Labs refunds the full price if you ask within 14 days of the purchase, provided that less than 10 % of the paid videos (counted in seconds of video delivered to your account) have been watched and that no answer sheet and no lab package has been downloaded. Exercise sheets do not count.
Ask from your account page (“Ask for a refund”) or by email. The refund is made to the card used for the purchase, normally within 14 days, and access to the paid lessons ends with it.
7. Legal guarantee of conformity
As a consumer, you benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content (Articles L224-25-12 and following of the French Consumer Code). If the course or the platform does not work as described, write to [email protected]: we will bring it into conformity or, failing that, reduce the price or refund it.
8. Licence and protection of the content
The purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable and non-exclusive right to watch the course and use its materials for your own training. Downloading, recording, copying, sharing or redistributing the videos, the exercise and answer sheets, the lab package or any part of the course is prohibited, as is any attempt to get around the platform’s protections.
To protect the course, every video carries a visible mark identifying your account and an invisible watermark, and every file you download carries your name and a hidden identifier. They make it possible to trace a copy back to the account it came from. How these data are kept is explained in the privacy policy.
9. Misuse
Sigreturn Labs may suspend an account, then close it without refund, if it is shared, if the content is copied or redistributed, or if the protections are attacked. You are told and can respond before an account is closed. Sigreturn Labs reserves its right to take legal action in case of infringement.
10. Liability
The course teaches techniques in an isolated laboratory for defensive purposes. Sigreturn Labs is not liable for the use you make of them outside that framework. Except in case of gross negligence or intentional misconduct, its liability is limited to the price paid. Nothing in these terms limits the mandatory rights you have as a consumer.
11. Consumer mediation
If a dispute cannot be settled with us in writing, you may refer it free of charge to the consumer mediator: [mediator to be named before the sale opens].
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Consumers keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where they live, and may bring a claim before the courts of their place of residence.
13. Changes
These terms may change; the version in force on the day of your purchase applies to it.
